Viewers, invited by the funny Curator to his Museum of Imagination, become witnesses of a special act of creation. Artists conjure up not only many famous ones
and unknown works of painting, but allow them to come to life and tell their extraordinary stories once again.
The three-dimensional images that emerge successively evolve before the viewers’ eyes, surprise, move, and sometimes make them laugh. They transport viewers into the past and the future, to the garden of paradise and Parisian cafes, to the battlefield and the circus arena. The theater was inspired by the works of such artists as Gustav Klimt, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, Rene Magritte and others.
Everything is possible in the artist’s perverse imagination, which is why realities mix and interpenetrate here as well to create a new, slightly absurd and certainly unique work.
Teatr Akt has been fascinated by the poetics of street theatre, circus, the art of mime and dance for years
fully uses all the advantages of these arts to create an interesting, expressive, artistic spectacle in its own way.
